Newport Wine & Food Festival - Enjoy wonderful wines from around the world, fabulous food inspired by local and regional chefs and exquisite ocean views at this year's Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival at Rosecliff and The Breakers. Tickets on sale now. September 17th - 19th.

Newport International Boat Show - Experience one of the largest and most prestigious boat shows in the country. Walk the docks and view a spectacular display of shiny new sailboats and powerboats, some making their first-ever debut in the United States. On the land side, you'll find hundreds of marine products, services and accessories to enhance the boating lifestyle. Tickets on sale now. September 16th - 19th.

Audrain Newport Concourse & Motor Week - Spend your days enjoying fine dining pop-ups, exhibitions of rare and exciting automobiles, seminars, shopping, tennis, golf and sailing along the Newport coast. Then, once the sun goes down, experience exclusive cocktail hours, dinners, our annual gala and various VIP parties hosted in the Gatsby-esque mansions that populate America's original luxury capital. Tickets on sale now. September 30th - October 3rd.


Sail Newport - Get a sense of what sailing's all about while seeing Newport from the water. Schedule a Try Sailing experience with a certified Sail Newport instructor.

Newport Film - Enjoy an outdoor film experience with the entire family. Watch impactful and provoking documentaries that you won't forget.

Aquidneck Growers Market - Stop by the Aquidneck Growers Market on Wednesday afternoons on Memorial Boulevard. Shop the freshest and most delicious locally grown food.

Newport Gulls Game - Cheer on the local collegiate baseball team at Cardines Field. Home games are every Wednesday and Friday at 6:35 through the end of July.

Newport Polo - Enjoy one of Newport's favorite summer sporting pastime, Polo! The Newport International Polo Series hosts matches every Saturday through September!

Coastal Queen Sunset Cruises - Enjoy the great outdoors cruising aboard Coastal Queen as she offers maximum comfort and spectacular views of the lighthouses and historic sights that surround magnificent Newport Harbor and lower Narragansett Bay. Weekly cruises departing from Jamestown and Newport.

Sweet Berry Farm - A beautiful post-and-beam farm market, café, and pick-your-own farm in Middletown, Rhode Island. Visitors enjoy fresh pick-your-own fruits, fresh cut flowers and picturesque scenery.

Green Animals Topiary Garden - Come and see more than 80 topiaries in the shape of animals and geometric designs. The topiary gardens is also home to stunning flowering bulbs, perennials, annuals and shrubs that bloom colorfully throughout the year.

Rail Explorers - Enjoy a leisurely 6 mile expedition along spectacular Narragansett Bay with views only visible from the unique perspective of the railroad. (Vacation Newport guests receive a special discount!)


Tennis Hall of Fame Museum - Enjoy nearly 2000 objects from the International Tennis Hall of Fame's collection of artifacts, images, videos, and publications. Attend the Hall of Fame open from July 11 - July 18 for some world class tennis.

Newport Art Museum - Founded in 1912, the Newport Art Museum is one of the oldest continuously operating and most highly regarded art museums and schools of its kind in the country.

Nature Trails

Sachuest Point Wildlife Refuge - Take in the beauty of the multiple walking trails, beaches and overlooks while sighting deer, birds and other creatures.

Beavertail State Park - Located over the bridge in Jamestown with views of Narragansett Bay and walking trails galore. Visit the lighthouse museum and learn the rich history of Beavertail and the other lighthouses in Rhode Island.

Norman Bird Sanctuary - The sanctuary is a nonprofit and environmental education center with more than 325 acres of diverse habitats and 7 miles of hiking trails.

Sakonnet Greenway Trail - This is the longest continuous nature trail on Aquidneck Island at 10 miles long. The SGT is a true snapshot of inland Aquidneck Island with wildlife, open meadows and woodlands.


Clancy Design Glass Blowing - Just over the bridge in Jamestown is a locally owned and operated hand blown glass studio. The gallery is open during the week and on the weekends. By appointment glass blowing lessons are available and fun for the whole family.

Wald & Sea - Thoughtful gifts and unique finds that are a welcome change from the normal souvenir.

Shore Soap Co - Handcrafted bath and body brand locally owned and operated in Rhode Island.

All Ashore - Thoughtfully curated selection of nautical inspired home accessories & gifts located in Jamestown.


Malt on Broadway - Family owned and operated on Broadway. Fresh local food with 31 draft beers, and craft selections, with many Single Malts, Bourbons & Irish Whiskeys.

Coffee Grinder - Located on the very end of Bannister's Wharf, overlooking the harbor. Authentic Italian espresso drinks and some of the best coffees in Newport are prepared here the proper way.

Custom House Coffee - Just a short drive in Middletown with delicious coffee roasted in house.
